Opportunity Camp is a ministry of Crosbyton Church of Christ and is for students in Crosby County who are interested in attending church camp. Camp is held at South Plains College in Levelland from Thursday afternoon to Tuesday evening. Any student who is currently a 3rd grader through a 6th grader is welcome to attend with us (as long as we have space). The staff at camp comes from: Crosbyton, Shallowater, Tulia, Lubbock and a few other spots around the Tx Panhandle. Scholarship applications are sent out each year around spring break for campers to apply for a spot at Opportunity Camp.

Let's be honest. Growing up is hard for too many kids today. Students are discouraged, frustrated and think they don't like to learn. But it doesn't have to be this way.
You want your child to have a fun, safe and productive summer. But how do you do that? Who do you trust to take great care of your kids when your child may have never been to camp before?
We understand how you feel and want to help your child have the best summer of their life! In fact, we want to help beyond just a camp in July in the summer, but that is a great place to begin we think.
If you are like some, your child may have never gone away to camp. Which makes you and your child a little bit nervous, ok for some a lot nervous.
But we are excited! We have been planning this week all year and can't wait to make this year our Best. Year. Ever. We know that your child wants to have fun playing, eat great food, be with friends and swim. We know that you want them to be safe, be well taken care of and to be loved. We do that really well. Our 1 counselor for every 2 campers is one of the best ratios you'll find at ANY CAMP you can attend.
When your child returns home, they will have had an amazing camp experience and understand why the Opportunity Camp family is so special to all of us. Op Camp is where the adventure begins for young leaders--but it doesn't end there.
